General
|
|
Grey Duiker live in all habitats except in deserts, where
there is no bush for them. They are one of the most adaptable
antelope in South Africa and survive where most other antelope
cannot. They are usually solitary animals but sometimes
a male will accompany a fertile female. They eat virtually
anything and have been recorded raiding birds nests for
the eggs. They are mostly active in the late afternoon and
early morning, becoming nocturnal where they are heavily
persecuted. |
