The Suni is only found in a strip of land running up
the side of Africa from Northern KwaZulu Natal to Kenya.
They either go around in pairs or are solitary antelope.
In cool cloudy weather they are restless and move around
feeding every half an hour or so. This is due to their
rapid metabolism and small size. During the heat of the
day they lie asleep under a shady bush and they coloring
is so perfect that they are often missed, often the only
sign that they are there is their flicking tail. They
will lie like this until the last moment and then getting
up and dashing away at speed. Suni are browsers living
off leaves exclusively, making them antelope of densely
bushed areas.
